Public Service Announcement [Cookie Butter]

Or I feel on the verge of diabetus or a sugar coma but whatevs!
I love this stuff so much.
I don't know how I've never tried it before yesterday.
The Trader Joes version has been floating around Instagram for awhile and I've been very intrigued, even looked up a recipe to make it homemade.
Yesterday it happened though when I saw this jar in Walmart in the peanut butter section.

Try it.
I have been smearing it all over strawberries...and my face while I devour it.
And maybe just maybe I've been eating it straight out the jar.
A lady never reveals her secrets

Looks it's all natural, that means I can feel like a health guru, like someone who is realy in charge of their diet while eating enough to supply a small dinner party

Not A Professional

I am in no way a pro in this area nor do I claim to be but I thought I would give a little bit of fashion advice. At the end of typing that sentence a smile spread across my face. I seriously don't feel qualified but I know just like anything else in life we all learn a little by watching others. I can't tell you how many times I've been told that I seem like I have it all together. (thats a post/rant for another day) I've come to the conclusion that it's in part by refusing to wear sweat/yoga pants in public. Haha. It's laughable but your appearance goes a long way. I really don't have time just like any other mom to take that good care of myself. My make up routine mainly everyday just eyeliner, mascara, and blush. My hair, well....
Here is a photo showing how a little can go a long way. In neither of these photos are my hair and makeup done. Just wanted to stress how much "styling" can add to your look...

Only two things were added in photo two: a belt and a necklace. I also tucked my short in the front. That's it. Like I said a little can go a long way.

Give your skinny jeans a cuff on the bottom, wear a contrasting undershirt, put a headband on. It won't take but 30 seconds more...

Hair Cut (DIY)

About month ago I cut my own hair on a whim. I lack serious self control at times, which is both empowering and worrisome. :) I have (needed) a trim for months and with a newish baby and husband wih a crazy work schedule I finally gave up on the hope and just started triming it myself. At first snip I sorta knew I was just going to do what I really wanted and give myself a bob. It was sort of like when you know your going to jump off something tall and you sorta trick yourself and jump off before you get to "...three" ...please tell me you understand the analogy? Well anyways after a few "just a trim" snips I sorta sent out a cry for help text to my friend Kelly trying to get her to talk me out of it. When she didn't text me back in ten seconds (haha) I just grabbed a late portion of my hair and snipped it off all at once so there would be no going back.
I wasn't sweating either...
Anyways here is a series of selfie photos for you because I kept it a secret from my husband while I was doing it. For fear of a butt chewing.

(Selfie I sent to a friend. I don't think I'm as cute as a selfie implys haha)

Yaahhh I'm a mom!

I would like to eventually make it more of a wedge and a little shorter. I couldn't pull the back hair to the front after a certain length (if that makes sense)
So my next trim Ill have it reshaped to something more like this

(sorry no source off pinterest)

Chevron Toddler Tank

Made a new tank as a gift. Completely my own design and out of my own head only. For once. Its so fun see things take shape as you go.
My model showed it off well :)
